A jewellery designer with a passion for bold shapes and strong colours; Kerren Ilbery is NEOLITHIC!

Kerren's creativity has evolved from many influences, beginning with a career in the film & television industry. After 7 years of this crazed working environment she decided to leave the corporate arena and pursue her passion for 'all things beauteous', (as her father used to say), and travel!

Once she had returned from Europe, South East Asia, India, Africa and the Pacific she was determined to expand upon her traditional training in Mehndi Design (Henna Tattooing), an ancient form of body painting that dates back thousands of years to Africa and India. Amazed at the success of her business over 8 years, Kerren often referred to herself as the 'the professional doodler'.

Constantly on the move throughout the Pacific, Kerren has always been a collector of tribal, ceremonial jewellery and weavings. Totally inspired by traditional body adornment and tribal personal ornamentation from across the globe, particularly Papua New Guinea, Laos and India, led to the launch of NEOLITHIC. She feels this was a distinctive and natural progression.
